The AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor will be an excellent choice for someone on a tight budget for gaming. It outperforms the i7‑1165G7 in efficiency and multi-core tasks, scoring about 84% in multi-core benchmarks compared to the i7’s 100%, with single-core performance around 75‑80% of the i7’s level.

When it comes to casual gaming or multitasking, the 8GB RAM size is relatively okay.

 Nevertheless, if you are going to play demanding games or open multiple programs at once, then it may be better to increase your RAM so that you can have a smoother experience.
